Context
The journal existed as a Markdown template and nothing else. Today it became a section of the site, in both languages, with the first three entries in it.
Changes
- Added the journal as two content collections,
journalandjournalTranslations, sharing one schema. A Czech translation is the same slug underjournal-translations/cs/, so an entry with no translation still renders in English. - Added the index and detail pages for both locales, a
JournalCard, and filters by entry type and by project. The project filter reads the names from the project pages, so a project slug with no page shows nothing. - Put the Writing section behind a feature flag and set it to hidden: out of the navigation, off the homepage, out of the sitemap. The routes and the articles stay where they are and still build.
- Published the first entry, on localizing this site.
- Published two more, for 7 and 8 September on Lif-align, and wrote down in
AGENTS.mdthat each project keeps its own entries - work on one project never goes into an entry about another.
Notes
- No database. Entries are Markdown files in the repository, the same way projects and writing already were.
- The journal is written from the day it is dated, in short factual sentences, and each entry names what the factory did and what I did separately.
